Using diverse approaches to teach freshmen, sophomores, and juniors of a large, suburban high school in Bergen county, with a focus on a thematic approach to an array of literary works; developing writing skills that will prepare students for formal and HSPA writing tasks; planning and executing lessons in accordance with the New Jersey Core Content Curriculum Standards; creating, administering, and grading tests that measure multiple intelligences; advising extra-curricular activities, including the Speech & Debate Team, the Newspaper, and the Ski & Snowboard Club
